Union Township voters in Butler County will decide March 7 whether to change the community's name permanently to West Chester Township.
The name change is designed to give the area a clearer identity. Two other townships, one in Warren County and one in Clermont, are also named Union, causing much confusion.
Overall, there are 28 Union townships in Ohio.
