For the second year in a row, Cincinnati officials are prepared to approve $100,000 to help stage a college football game and related events designed to encourage black students to stay in school.
A City Council majority has indicated it will support giving the money to the River Front Classic and Jamboree during council's meeting this afternoon. Last month, City Council rejected a $400,000 request from the group as too costly.
