Organizers of the River Front Classic & Jamboree football game fumbled in their attempt to get $400,000 in taxpayer funding, with Cincinnati officials rejecting the request as too costly.
But event planners aren't out of the game yet. City Council quietly filed the request this week, without comment, meaning it wouldn't be acted upon by the group.
Some council members indicated they would be amenable to approving $100,000 to help with costs to produce the event, ...
