Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates kicked off the Consumer Electronics Show here last night with a sales pitch to some of the 90,000 consumer electronics manufacturers and retailers attending.

After the usual goofy videos - including a rerun from Comdex featuring Gates as Austin Powers, International Man of Technology, and Steve Ballmer as Dr. Evil - Gates used a satellite link to show a packed theater audience the company's newly updated model Microsoft Concept Home in Redmond.
