Members of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church got to learn about the Methodist church in Scandinavia last week when they hosted nine visitors from Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The nine people - four men, four women and a baby - came to North Carolina as part of the United Methodist Church's caravan program. Every other year, a group of Methodists from Scandinavia travels to the Western North Carolina Conference of the Methodist Church to learn more about the denomination and worship in the United States. North Carolina Methodists go to Scandinavia on alternate years.
