Zoning laws must be updated before Franklinville planners can decide whether to let new homes attach to the sewer line.

The town's Planning Board came to that decision Tuesday night after a residential developer asked for help in understanding the legal description and requirements for lots he plans to sell near the southern side of Franklinville.

Developer Tom Britt told the board he plans to expand his Deep River Haven mobile home development near U.S. 64 to include stick-built and mobile homes.
