Virata has unveiled Azurite, the industry's first voice IAD chipset enabling the design of DSL Integrated Access Devices (IADs) that provide combined voice and data services for the high-volume residential and small to mid-size office markets.
The new Azurite family of voice and data IAD chipsets features Virata's leading Helium or Beryllium semiconductors with its new Magnesium voice processing DSP, voice algorithms, voice control systems and network protocols.
