So it is with Ocean View Golf Course, which will undergo a nearly $3 million renovation over the next six months.

The project - a complete overhaul of the grounds from top to bottom - is to be complete by Sept. 1. Just three weeks later, golf mega-star Tiger Woods takes over Ocean View for his Tiger Woods Foundation Clinic Weekend, Clinic and Auction.

The event, as well as the completion of the remodeling, will mark a milestone for golf in Norfolk. Woods is, after all, the hottest thing in the golf world. ...
