A bout 20 hikers took in the surrounding beauty as they gathered at Frazier Mills Campground to prepare for a 4-mile hike in the Mountain Home State Forest.
Ranging from a toddler strapped into a carrier to a septuagenarian couple, the group gathered around forest manager David Dulitz, who led the recent outing in the demonstration state forest, which features giant sequoia trees.
