Jun. 20--In corporate America, almost everyone wants to be No. 1. And lots of companies want to be called that as well. There's Bank One, Realty One, Charter One, VH1, MediaOne and Channel One.
Now, the latest: PolyOne Corp.
That's the new name for the company that will be created by the merger of M.A. Hanna Co. and Geon Co., two big players in the plastics business.
