SIGN DEFINITIVE ACQUISITION AGREEMENT

DALLAS, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabine Corporation (NYSE: SAB) announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Pacific Enterprises at a price of $24.00 in cash per share, or a total of $339 million. The agreement provides that a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Enterprises will shortly commence a tender offer for all of the outstanding shares of Sabine for $24.00 per share.
