Region 5 completed one of the most dominating runs through the 14th Annual State Games with a 12-5 rout of Region 4 in the gold medal baseball game.

The Region 5 team is comprised of players from the nine counties surrounding Guilford County. The squad finished 4-0 with the win and outscored its opponents 38-12.
