Pundang Attracts Venture Firms With Better Prices, Space.

The Pundang area of Songnam, Kyonggi province, is emerging as a favorite spot for venture entrepreneurs.

The area between Yatap to Ori subway stations, right outside of the capital, is turning into a venture valley, rivaling Teheran, Yangjae and Poi Valleys in southern Seoul.

A total of 1,672 venture firms, or 36 percent of the nation's total, are located in southern Seoul, but many are moving further south to Pundang.

Some 100 venture companies are already spread out in Yatap, Sohyon and Chorim subway stations, and some even reach the neighboring city Yongin.
