Jun. 21--A federal judge sent the Microsoft antitrust case to the Supreme Court Tuesday, supporting the government's attempt to leapfrog over an appeals court to resolve the historic case more quickly.

However, it's unclear whether the required majority of the Supreme Court will agree to hear the case or redirect it back to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
