This was to be the last meeting, the last chance to make a pitch that creationism should be taught at some level in the Prior Lake-Savage public school system.

And it went something like this:

"Where's the fossil evidence to support evolution?" a frustrated Mike Pearson asked. The school administrators in the stuffy meeting room shifted uncomfortably in their chairs.

"I don't want to get into that," snapped Jerry Spies, a school official.
