Gustavus golfers have some company at the top.(SPORTS)

Few small-college athletic programs have been as predictable as the Gustavus men's golf team over the last 15 years. In the spring, the Gusties regularly compete in the NCAA Division III tournament. In the fall, they regularly win the MIAC championship, taking 13 consecutive titles from 1982-94.

The Gusties still are at the top of their game, but other programs - Augsburg in the MIAC, and Iowa's Luther and Central colleges in NCAA Region V - have made the top a much more crowded place. The Gusties are ranked 13th in Division III and won last weekend's Gustie Spring ...
