Surprisingly, there are those who suggest that government's not always so efficient as it ought to be. Perhaps that's because we in the media focus on the snafus, not the success stories.
What follows, then, is the story of Morristown's smooth-sailing efforts with various levels of government to erect a street light.
Morristown is a lovely southern Minnesota community of about 800 people. It's in Rice County on the banks of the Cannon River and bills itself as "the best little city by a dam site."
