Suffolk carcase contest planned.(News)

THE Suffolk Sheep Society (Northern Ireland Branch) is holding a carcase competition on Friday, June 16, at Dungannon Meats.

Entries are for a pair of lambs, sired by a Suffolk ram. Lambs must be in the 17-21kg range; lambs over 21kg will be excluded from the competition.

Dungannon Meats will present its perpetual cup for the champion pair and shield for the reserve pair. The Ulster Bank will again sponsor the competition.
