The third-ranked Gophers wrestling team shut out a Big Ten opponent in a dual meet for the first time since 1979, routing No. 23 Indiana 38-0 on Saturday at the Sports Pavilion. It was marks the first ever Big Ten shutout for Gophers coach J Robinson.
The Gophers' previous shutout of a Big Ten foe occurred on Feb. 9, 1979 when they defeated Purdue 51-0 at Williams Arena. The Gophers improve to 13-1; Indiana is 10-4.
