Eau de Cologne bids for sweet smell of success.(Sports)

Some people feel Eau de Cologne's lack of chasing experience may count against him in the Whitbread Gold Cup at Sandown today, but his trainer Lydia Richards is certainly not among them.
She says: "He's a natural and has taken to chasing from the start. If the race goes his way, I would expect him to make a very bold show, with a real chance of winning."
Richards has not enjoyed the best of seasons, with only three jumps winners and the loss of exciting hurdling prospect Just Nip, who had to be put down after a fall at Ascot this month.
