"Hickory, Dickory, Dock;" "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep;" "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary." You probably know these nursery rhymes by heart. But who was Mother Goose, and did she really write all those poems by herself?

The first mention of Mother Goose was from a book written three hundred years ago by French writer, Charles Perrault. In 1697, he published a book of children's stories, later translated as Histories or Tales of Past Times, with Morals.
