Trinity Episcopal to hold Shrove Tuesday supper.(Neighbor)

We're all familiar with Mardi Gras, the French tradition of preparing for Lent with lots of food and fun.

But the congregation of Trinity Episcopal Church prefers to follow in the English tradition, which is a little more subdued and practical.

Church members will hold a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 130 N. West, Wheaton. A $3 charge will offset expenses, while any profits will go into the church's fund for outreach programs.
