This may come as a shock to you, but the facts are in and it is confirmed - everyone lives in a watershed.

To be more specific we all live in the DuPage River watershed, just one of many that make up the Illinois River watershed which covers nearly 1.6 million acres and feeds water to the Mississippi River.

Watersheds are interconnected basins throughout our landscape. Water travels over the surface of the land and across fields, forests and lawns to reach our streams, rivers and lakes. Because of this, we all influence what happens in our watershed by how we treat natural ...
