On a trip to the Algonquin Area Library a couple weeks ago, I overheard one patron telling her friend (when they saw the artist's renderings in the lobby), "Did you know they're building a new library? From the looks of it, it's going to be huge."

Yes, it is going to be big (twice the size of the current library). Two new features will be a drive-up book drop and drive- up service window. These features will be a blessing to us Moms who squeeze in a stop at the library to drop off books between other errands.
