Nineteen-year-old David Holinger is majoring in marine biology at the University of New England in Maine. This spring, he'll be in the Gulf of Mexico, studying the amount of light that comes up from the water's depths--it's a project funded by a grant from the National Aeronautics Administration (NASA).
