Communist Party `ready to form' government.

Russia's opposition Communist Party, making the most of Kremlin indecision over who should be Prime Minister, said yesterday it was ready to form a government to pull the country out of its deep crisis.

The Communists issued a statement saying they were ready to "take responsibility" in Russia as President Boris Yeltsin agonised for the second day over who to nominate as Prime Minister for a decisive vote in parliament.
