THE Royal Navy are poised to cancel buying a fleet of the pounds 30million hi-tech aircraft which crashed killing 19 US Marines in the Arizona desert.

One of the first MV-22 tilt-rotor Ospreys in use by the military exploded in mid-air and crashed in flames at Marana Northwest Regional Airport on Saturday.

The revolutionary plane was among the first to be delivered to the military for testing by its own pilots.
