WITH HELP FROM FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN INSURANCE CORP.
WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The nation's savings and loan regulator approved today the merger of troubled Mt. Pleasant Savings and Loan, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, into Sulphur Springs Loan and Building Association, of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Sulphur Springs assumes Mt. Pleasant's assets, deposits and liabilities and will operate its three offices as the Mt. Pleasant division of Sulphur Springs L&BA.
