THE team which broke the 18-year-old British land speed record last year unveiled their new jet car for the first time at Stoneleigh today.

The new-look car, called Split Second, will be used by drivers Colin Fallows and Mark Newby in July this year when they attempt to break their own record and crack the 300mph barrier.

The car was seen for the first time at the Fastenex and Shape Engineering Show 2000 at Stoneleigh's NAC.
