IT'S not often we duck priced-up handicaps in favour of conditions events, but that looks the route to follow this afternoon, when Wend's Day is strongly fancied to beat shorter-priced rivals in the Light Infantry Plate (Novices' Hurdle) (2.00) at Doncaster.
