Mar. 28--Southwest Airlines' employees' legendary devotion to their company will pay off again, when the carrier doles out more than $138 million in profit-sharing to 25,119 workers this September.

The Dallas-based airline said yesterday that, based on the company's 1999 pretax profit, this year's profit-sharing payments will set several records.
