A team of Birmingham backers has funded an pounds 18 million high-tech takeover.
Axis Resources, one of the country's top 20 IT outsourcing companies has been bought from Tomkins in a management buy-out.
The deal has been partly paid for with pounds 7 million in equity funding from the Birmingham offices of Lloyds Development Capital and NatWest Equity partners.
