When the need for some photo-copying recently took me to a local chemist's, I found that somebody's master copy had been left on the machine. While handing it over for safe keeping, I recognised it as a personal balance sheet. Its details escaped mebut debts on credit cards were easily in five figures. The meager receipts, mostly income support, would be largely swallowed up by the monthly repayments.
What a despairing situation for any household to be in! Where is the hope of Easter, let alone the joy?
