University of Ulster Graduations: Refugee student from Sarajevo graduates First Class at Magee.(News)

A YOUNG woman who had to leave war-torn Bosnia to continue her education graduated from the University of Ulster yesterday at Magee College with a First Class honours degree in Hotel Management and Tourism.

Dijana Colo arrived in Northern Ireland several years ago with very little English but a determination to complete her education after her studies at the University of Sarajevo had been brought to an abrupt halt when war broke out in Bosnia.
