Aidan O'Brien unveiled yet another two-year-old with star potential at The Curragh yesterday when debutant Black Rock Desert earned a 12-1 quote from Ladbrokes for the Sagitta 2,000 Guineas when landing the six- furlong maiden by five lengths, writes Tony O'Hehir.

Afterwards, O'Brien compared the son of Danzig favourably with some of his other exciting juveniles, including Stravinsky and Group 1 winner Orpen.
