Liverpool promoter John Hyland will begin talks with ITV executives today aimed at projecting World Boxing Union light-welterweight champion Shea Neary on to the world stage.

Neary cruised to a points win over Argentine challenger Juan Carlos Villarreal at the city's St George's Hall on Saturday night and Hyland is eager for the `Shamrock Express' to cash in.

Neary recently signed an eight-fight deal with ITV Saturday's bout was the first live terrestrial action on a Saturday night in more than three years.
