JOCK BROWN finally got something right and chucked it as Celtic's general manager - before Fergus McCann chucked him.

A learned man is Brown, but he was not clever enough, because he took 17 months to perform an act which Celtic fans had demanded for months.

Brown hung around, believing that he was doing alright, and for much of that time he succeeded in convincing McCann of that as well.

Where it all went horribly wrong for Jock, was when wee Fergus - businessman first and football fan second - realised that Brown's actions were damaging Celtic Football Club.
