Courtaulds Is Expanding Its Sulphur Chemicals Firm

Courtaulds PLC, a major British textile producer, plans to build a 5 million pound ($8.4 million U.S.) multipurpose plant for sulphur-based chemicals used in the production of viscose rayon fibers.

The company estimates additional capacity will be needed over the next three to five years and has budgeted another 10 million pounds ($16.8 million) to meet this need.
