Another year; another millennium: so where to walk at this unique turning point in history? I have decided to lead you along some of the finest countryside around the city - scenery that has wonderfully managed to retain its beauty through the years when pressures from industry and bricks and mortar have been so intense.
Fortunately there were men of vision over the last century or so who tried hard to ensure, by establishing a green barrier, that we can enjoy the Lickey Hills today.
