Its arrival in Nine Brindleyplace is a classic French understatement but Raymond Blanc's latest Le Petit Blanc certainly lives up to its name. It is blanc. Tres blanc.

"What do you think of the colour?" asked RB's commercial director Alysoun Stewart. "It's white, but not clinically so," she says. "I think it's rescued by the wood."

French walnut is on doors, window frames and the island bar which customers will not be allowed to sit at.
