Liberal Democratic Party of Russia leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky has been registered for his third presidential campaign following a 6 March decision by the Supreme Court's appeals chamber. The Central Electoral Commission had excluded Zhirinovsky from the race after finding he failed to declare a small apartment belonging to his son, and the Supreme Court had denied Zhirinovsky's first appeal. It is still possible that Zhirinovsky could leave the race if the Supreme Court's presidium overrules the decision of the appeals chamber. The reasoning behind the latest court decision ...
