In Honor of Paul Brest
He was the consummate dean.
Not just because he was thoughtful and scholarly, though he certainly is. Nor simply because of intellectual power and breadth and stature in his field, which he certainly has. Not even because of the respect and regard of his colleagues, though there was that in abundance.
