The Phillips et al. article published in the August 1998 issue of Health Services Research, and titled "Understanding the Context of Healthcare Utilization: Assessing Environment and Provider-related Variables in the Behavioral Model of Utilization," addressed an important issue (including context variables in the behavioral model of utilization) and was doubly interesting because among its co-authors were investigators whose work has shaped the thinking of many in the field: Ron Andersen and LuAnn Aday.
