According to an International Computer Security Association (ICSA) report, the Microsoft Windows NT 5.0 operating system is presently extremely vulnerable to cyberattacks. To ameliorate the situation, ICSA plans to start offering its TruSecure vulnerability testing services. Intrusion detection systems, often called adaptive network security software, are now available from Network Associates, Centrax, Internet Security Systems, Cisco Systems and many other vendors.
