U.S. DOT signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with six federal agencies. This MOU will streamline the process by which highway and transit projects are reviewed and approved.

The following six agencies are involved in the MOU:

* U.S. Department of Interior.

* U.S. Department of Agriculture.

* U.S. Department of Commerce.

* U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

* Environmental Protection Agency

* Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.

These agencies and the DOT are either responsible for reviewing environmental documents prepared under the ...
