Hollywood Park Inc. may be just about the most misnamed company in town.
It no longer owns the Hollywood Park racetrack or adjacent card casino, having sold them to Churchill Downs Inc. a few months back. And it's in escrow to sell the 140 or so acres surrounding the track. In September, it moved its corporate headquarters to Glendale.
So why not change the name?
