Jan. 29--Several hundred Triangle employees of OAO Corp. learned this week that when the snow falls, the eagle doesn't fly.
Normally, most workers who are working for clients in the Research Triangle Park area are handed paychecks at the high-tech consulting firm's office in RTP after 4 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
Outside of RTP, OAO employees who are working for clients in Raleigh and elsewhere in the region get their checks delivered by FedEx.
On Tuesday, OAO was closed. On Wednesday, the office was open, but for the rest ...
