Argentina: Luksic acquires land for vineyard in Mendoza.

Vina San Pedro the winery of the Chilean group Luksic, has paid US$3.4mil to acquire a 200 ha estate in San Carlos, Mendoza province, where it plans to set up a winery. The land was owned by Corporacion de los Andes, and 55% of it has red wine vines and 41% white wine vines. In addition San Pedro has the option to acquire further 440 ha of land from Corporacion to expand its properties in Mendoza. It will be the 5th Chilean winery to ...
