Matsushita Electric Works is to increase its production capacity for multilayered printed-circuit boards (PCBs) by 50% by 2001.
The PCBs are mainly used in cellular phones and other digital electrical appliances, and under the plan, the company will increase the monthly output to 2.0 million square metres from 1.3 million square metres at present.
