The League of Women Voters is pushing a lofty left-wing political agenda for the 2000 elections while cloaking itself in a nonpartisan image it relies on for influence.

A few weeks ago the League of Women Voters, or LWV, lobbied hard in favor of the defeated Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.
